Arrived on the off chance and was not disappointed. This is one of the best curries that we have had. Would highly recommend the Chennai Lounge. Staff recommended the dishes and were attentive and very polite. Rice portions are big and would be ideal to share. Quick service also

Food is very good authentic South Indian. Been twice now and will be coming back for more. The first time was an excellent wine pairing dinner with classic Indian dishes. Today the tandoori mixed grill was the most flavoursome I’ve had in Southampton. Hope more people discover this spot.

It was first time to go there. Menu was well explained but is pricy compared to other places I went it was justified as it’s expensive area and the quality was generous. The staff were welcoming. Ambiance was energetic and full of life. Hygiene was good. Toilets were clean. We ordered lamb, pani puri and extra and it was all very delicious. 5 stars to the chef whoever cooked it. Tender lamb and spices were so balanced. Parking on road could be tricky because it’s on the main road and is limited so look for it in the area as it’s a busy area. I’m attaching few photos for the reference. Overall experience was great. I tried a few things and I plan on going there again to try other things on their menu. I would definitely give them five stars for everything. Thank you guys you’re doing a great job. Definitely recommended if you are in the area and you want to try south Indian food then it should be your Must-Try.

The best Indian food we have had in Southampton. Buttermilk was so fresh. Parotta and pepper chicken were amazing. Fresh food and authentic taste. Mr.Aravind was very nice to us and made our visit even better! Ended with carrot halwa which was the cherry on top of the cake. Made us feel like we were back in India.

2nd visit with family and friends. Food and service is top notch. We tried grilled fish fillet, Gonjura chicken, chilli cauliflower, Mangalore mutton ghee roast, Salt and pepper mushroom for the starters and Kori Ghasi, Usilampatti Lamb curry for mains with Garlic butter Naan. Each and every dish was mouth watering. Only let down was the Soda Sherbet drink. Service is very good as well. Special mention to the ambience as well, well designed and very elegant! Highly recommend.
